God is changing lives in the greater Athens area.
The Jules Show features stories of people from our area whose lives have been changed by God. It is our hope that by sharing the stories of ministries, missionaries, pastors and laypeople, listeners will be inspired to allow God to work in their lives. The Jules Show also seeks to bring Bible believing Christians together, uniting them in a cohesive body to accomplish God’s wishes for our community. In addition to playing great contemporary Christian Music, The Jules Show features music from new artists, local worship teams, and other local artists.
The Jules Show airs on 88-9 The Reach Monday through Friday from 8pm to 11pm.
Julianna “Jules” Smoak grew up in Americus, Georgia, where she developed an early talent for telling stories. At 14 years old, Jules was toting around a camcorder documenting and interviewing everyone from school friends to covering church youth trips.
After completing a two-week internship at a television station while in High School, Jules enrolled in the University of North Georgia, and eventually transferred to the University of Georgia where she earned a degree in journalism. She first worked in radio while a freshman in college and for the past seven years has been a contributor to the radio news magazine, “Life With Purpose,” which is produced by the Georgia Baptist Mission Board.
Jules lives in Athens, is a mother of three girls and is married to David, who is a graphic designer.
Now at 88.9 The Reach, she wants “The Jules Show” to be a vehicle for encouraging listeners to use their own gifts and talents in ways they might not have otherwise considered – all for His Glory.
